Strawberry Fields
Strawberry Fields est un mémorial situé dans Central Park à New York. Il est dédié à la mémoire de John Lennon et son nom reprend une de ses chansons : Strawberry Fields Forever. Il a été conçu par Bruce Kelly et a été inauguré le jour du 45e anniversaire de John Lennon, le 9 octobre 1985. Le mémorial a la forme d’un triangle dont le coeur est constitué d’un symbole de paix en mosaique. Au centre de la mosaïque, se trouve le mot ‘’Imagine’’, titre de sa chanson la plus connue.
Anecdotes :
Le mémorial est souvent recouvert de fleurs, de bougies déposés par les fans de Lennon. A l’anniversaire de John Lennon, et à la date de son assassinat de nombreuses personnes se rassemblent pour chanter et rendre hommage à cet artiste.

Dakota Building
Le Dakota Building (The Dakota) est un immeuble situé à New York City. Il a été construit dans le style néo-renaissance en 4 ans: entre le 25 octobre 1880 et le 27 octobre 1884. Il a été dessiné par l’architecte Henry Janeway Hardenbergh. Dakota Building est connu pour avoir été la résidence de John Lennon et l’endroit où il a été assassiné.

Strawberry Fields
Strawberry Fields is a memorial in Central Park. It is dedicated to remember John Lennon, and designed by the architect Bruce Kelly. The name of the memorial is a reference to the Beatles song "Strawberry Fields Forever" written by Lennon. Strawberry Fields was inaugurated on Lennon's 45th birthday. It has a triangular shape and in its center there is a mozaic symbol that represents peace. With a single word written in it, the title of Lennon's famous song: "Imagine".
Anecdotes :
The memorial is often covered by flowers and candles in glasses left by Lennon's fans.
On his birthday and on the anniversary of his death, people gather to sing songs and pay him a tribute.

Dakota Building
Dakota Building is an apartment located in New York City, near Central Park. It was built in a neo renaissance style and it took 4 years to build it (from the 25 of octobre of 1880 to the 27 of october of 1884). The building have been conceived by the architect Janeway Hardenbergh.The Dakota is famous because it was the home of John Lennon but also the place of his murder.

Il est également le fondateur du groupe musical des Beatles, connu dans le monde entier. Il a été assassiné par Mark David Chapman, devant sa résidence du Dakota Building à New-York :
John Lennon was born on the 9th of October, in 1940, in Liverpool and was murdered the 8th of December the 1980 in New York City. He was a British musician, songwriter and singer.
